Syracuse prepares for its second game of the tournament against Cal tonight. The Orange couldn’t have played much better than it did in the thrashing over Montana Thursday. Reports of possible NCAA violations hangs over the program, but SU acted as though it was the farthest thing from its mind. A complete effort both offensively and defensively in the win over the Grizzlies gave Orange Nation hope this wouldn’t be such a short trip in the tourney.
Team Fizz’s Andrew Kanell is covering SU in San Jose. He breaks down the matchup against the Bears with host of the Syracuse post game show on The Score 1260, Alex Plavin, outside HP Pavillion.
