It wasn’t without a few nervous moments, but Syracuse takes care of Georgetown in what could be the final Big East showdown between the two rivals at the Dome. So, yeah. That’s how it should be. The Orange let the Hoyas hang around, give JT3 and those neon-green laced divas a little hope… and then ripped the heart out of them.
So you know what? Let’s keep the party going. This whole season has been one long fantastic voyage, as Coolio might say (outside of the whole Bernie Fine thing and that Fab Melo academic snafu). SU doesn’t have to worry about the undefeated anchor around its neck. The Orange is staying healthy. The squad has had enough adversity to learn lessons without losses. Life is good.
This group embodies team. K-Jo was a stud tonight. Dion has been electric. Fab steps up to be a beast. Scoop doesn’t hoist bad shots. Brandon can take over late in a game. This is a team in every sense of the word.
So The Fizz salutes the team concept of this inspiring SU squad with a new t-shirt. A few years ago, a basic shirt design listing all the Beatles by first name grew into a phenomenon. It spawned copycats all over the sports world, including a bad ass Knicks tee that showed up on one of the members of De La Soul at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors.
It’s so simple. It’s so classic. We had to give it the Orange touch.
Let’s recognize the embodiment of¬†team with what we call the “My 5 Orange” tee.
The ‘Cuse is in the house. And Georgetown still sucks.

Team shirt? Where’s CJ? Where’s Baye? Where is the rest of the team – RAK, MCW? This team is A TEAM! A body of work. Your shirt blows because is does not encompass the whole TEAM. At least give some recognition to those who have contributed to this great season.

All good points men. Unfort. the design kinda limits us to just 5… we played around with more names, but it just looked cluttered. We felt like these 5 really captured the 5 biggest contributers… but I’m thinking of releasing a “2nd 5” – with the next wave. CJ & Baye & MCW & Rak, etc. We’ll see how people respond to this. Great feedback though. Always looking for what readers are thinking.
