Looks like the Delone Carter Snowball-Gate is finally behind us.
But in City Court today, documents were released from William Fitzpatrick, Onondaga County D.A., clarifying the events but also coming off as preachy, pulpit, condescending bullsh*t.

Carter’s admission:
“I punched William Jay Hotaling in the face without his consent. I understand he never threw a snowball at my car and he did not throw one at me or threaten me in any way. Mr. Hotaling did not start any altercation with me or anyone I was with that night.”
This is certainly not in line with what many of us surmised (including The Fizz, which beat up Hotaling pretty good). The Fizz takes its medicine and apologizes to Hotaling (kind of. He still seems like a douche).
This is where Ditzy Fitzy goes off the reservation and channels his inner Bill O’Reilly.
“Within hours, the cesspool of misinformation otherwise known as Syracuse.com began to overflow with vitriol… the vast majority of it directed at Mr. Hotaling. The ‘experts’ blogging with the wisdom previously reserved for the Oracle at Delphi, described Mr. Hotaling as the “instigator”… a racist… and a ‘drunk.’”
Cesspool of misinformation? Let me guess: You have purchased thousands of dollars in Post-Standard ad space to get re-elected four times and surf on Syracuse.com daily to read crime stories and see your name in print. Is the P-S the Washington Post? No. But who at the campaign offices yelled “cesspool of misinformation!” when the paper reported Ditzy Fitzy had won a fifth term?
“The entire incident is on videotape. Mr. Hotaling was NOWHERE NEAR the snowballers, he did NOT pick up any snow and was simply walking home.
There is no evidence whatsoever, that Mr. Hotaling was drunk, drinking or had any alcohol in his system.
Mr. Hotaling… DIDN’T SAY A WORD.
I hope there is also an apology coming from the news outlet that chooses to print this garbage on their website. But I wouldn’t count on it.”
Good grief. Does anyone have a roll of duct tape for Ditzy Fitzy’s blithering yam? Did someone just introduce him to the “caps lock” key, because this reads like an 11-year-old girl’s “Witches of Waverly Place” blog. Is this an account of what transpired or an op-ed piece in the Huffington Post? Or, did Hotaling’s family drop some money in the coffer of Fitzy’s campaign offices to get this type of shine?
Hey, Dizty Fitzy: Looks like we were wrong on Hotaling and Delone is a dummy for randomly cracking some pedestrian’s grill. We’re man enough to admit it. But forgive us if we don’t use caps lock.
