To be fair, it’s hard to truly get a feel for what Wheatley was able to do at EMU. He was only there for one full season. As soon as his NFL career ended (which it’s hard to believe spanned an entire decade), Wheat put his hand in the coaching ranks with positions on the Bucs and Steelers staffs.
Looking at EMU’s recruiting class, the Eagles did pluck kids from all over the country – including Ohio, Florida and New Jersey – which is something he’ll have to do again at Syracuse.
The Fizz is still disappointed Roger Harriott had to leave¬†because his wife said so, er… because it was the right thing for his family.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
